Holo Everywhere
This is awesome. Big win for developers. Big win for users. Fuck the carriers. Fuck the OEMs. It's a ballsy move from Google, small, but definitively on the right direction.
I hope they are just testing the waters to bring a new set of changes to Android. They desperately need to fix the whole fragmentation problem. It's getting really, really bad.
And if you ask me, fuck the "open" bullshit crap. Not sure what is the definition Google is giving to "open", but my dictionary says: "The ability of carriers and / or OEMs to piss your soup, laugh about it and make you pay for it".
Anyway, this is a step forward. I wish it lasts.
